FAQ
What are the benefits of daily money management?
Who controls my money when I work with a daily money manager? You do! You retain check signing authority on your bank and investment accounts, and you authorize payments on bills. Is my information kept confidential? Yes. I need your written permission to discuss any financial matter with other family members or professionals, such as accountants and attorneys. Computer files containing your financial information are password protected. Is your business insured? Yes. On Solid Ground Daily Money Management has both business liability and professional liability insurance policies in force. Am I losing the ability to make my own financial decisions when I work with a daily money manager? No. You continue to make the financial decisions. By using a daily money manager, you are able to have current, accurate information about your financial position, so that you can make informed decisions. How does the daily money manager interact with my accountant, attorney, and other professionals? With your written permission, I will be in contact with other professionals who assist you with your financial and legal matters. Although I do not offer financial or legal advice, I can share information about your finances with these professionals so that they can better serve you. Where do you do your work? Typically, I work with clients in their homes or offices. In addition, I may be able to handle some of your financial matters from my office. What are your fees? Please call me for the current hourly rate. Please also see the Costs page. Do you have a professional code of ethics? My work is guided by the Code of Ethics of the American Association of Daily Money Managers.
